Sharda Gupta is the Head of Global Business Services (GBL), India. She leads a global team across 50 countries that supports financial, accounting, public procurement, and global transformation and process management for Bayer. She has over 25 years of experience in leveraging technology and engineering for Fortune 500 companies. Her areas of expertise encompass technical knowledge, talent acquisition, mentoring, team management, IT cost reduction and increased
efficiency.

She has held various senior business and technology roles in various functions like strategic planning, management consulting, IT transformation, and talent management.

During Sharda’s 7 years Career at Bayer, she has worked as APAC Commercial Digital Lead and has worked in various capacities including Global smallholder farmers, digital transformation initiatives as part of Bayer’s global agricultural initiative, aiming to reach 100 million smallholder farmers by 2030. Sharda is a graduate in electrical engineering from the University of Mumbai.
