With a doctorate from ISB Hyderabad, he's a proven leader in scaling operations, notably achieving a rapid ramp-up of Legato to 7000 associates across 4 centers in two years. An expert in offshore capabilities, Anilesh offers a unique perspective from his extensive experience with both captives and third-party vendors. As an independent Strategy Consultant, he continues to drive success in the GCC/Captives space.

As a transformational and visionary in HR and business consultation, Kasturi Cotha has an impressive experience of nearly 25 years in global setups and global initiatives across human resource functions, business and strategy. She has a consistent record of initiating and setting operations, Global Capability centers, startups to mid-large size organizations. With a knack of employer/employment branding and DE&I initiatives, compliance and statutory related issues, she has ensured successful completion of projects. Besides being bestowed upon with various recognitions and awards, she has been invited to various panel and round table discussions and contributor to Thought Leadership meets. A distinguished alumna of the Indian Institute of Management, Bengaluru, she is passionate about the HR profession and finds a way to pay it forward to the fraternity, thus has taken up a role as Hon. Secretary of NHRD Bangalore chapter for the term of 2023-2025. Kasturi worked as the Head of HR, Bengaluru and HRBP, Global for Product and Technology, at Taylor and Francis Group where she built her identity as a mentor and developer of talent acquisition/talent management programs to support continuous improvement in productivity, performance and culture. She held an additional role of Associate Chair for the DE&I Council at Taylor and Francis. Recognizing her talents and outstanding interpersonal skills, her employers entrusted her with key responsibilities such as partnering with key business stakeholders to support their business drivers and people requirements and to build their understanding of and commitment to the People agenda such as delivery of effective workforce planning, talent acquisition and employer branding to act as an exemplary employer in all diversity and inclusion matters. She designed effective talent management and employee experience and wellbeing initiatives to support continuous improvement in productivity, performance, and culture. Supporting the business with managing organizational change, restructures, acquisitions. Organizational design and change management have been her forte. As a Country Head - People & Process and independent Entrepreneur at Vivasva Software India Pvt Ltd her notable work includes supporting the setup of an Australian based startup in India and providing HR and business consulting services for IT Skills Training Services, Enhance Academy, Eternity Structures Private Limited and Avhni Fix-It. Prior to this role, Kasturi was the HR Head at Danske IT & Support Services Pvt Ltd where she was part of India Management Team and responsible for establishment and growth of the GCC’s People agenda. She successfully implemented key referral and recruitment programs to support a tenfold increase in employees, executed solicitation procedures and setup an IT captive. Played a vital role in implementing Career growth framework and aligned it with Certification & Training programs. Designed Policies and Procedures to support establishment of the IT Captive. Earlier to that, in her role as a Manager HR and Operations with Temenos India Private Limited where she received an insight into performance management and introduced Competency based Performance Review & Development Program and devised Grading System through Scorecard of Competencies & Proficiency rating. She authored the HR Process Document in lines with the ISO 9001-2008 and Tick IT standards. She was part of strategic projects of Due-Diligence, Mergers assignments.

Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Gupta is the CEO of Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM), an initiative of the Government of Karnataka (GoK). He is on a mission that Karnataka provides the largest share of USD 300B to Hon PM vision of USD 1T digital economy of the country by 2025-26. Mr Gupta brings in 27 years of experience as an administrator, business leader, entrepreneur, mentor, and Indian IT growth facilitator. He is playing an instrumental role in enabling Karnataka objective to accelerate the growth and investments in digital economy with a focus on the core verticals viz., IT Products & Services, BPM and GCC Promotion, Innovation & Start-ups, ESDM, Beyond Bengaluru, and Talent Accelerator. He has led transformational projects in large organizations during his career that includes setting up SSS cadre, National health program (NRHM & RCH Ph II), Policy think tank - NHSRC and informatics and running new tech in areas of education, social development, cyber security, and others. He was the topper of ISS 98 batch and has served many organisations in Government of India like Ministry of Programme Implementation, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and others. He served in various leadership roles covering South Asia for companies like Accenture as its MD, Microsoft as its Country General Manager, IBM, and was also the MD & CEO of Lahari, Mysuru ESDM (Electronics Systems Design and Manufacturing) Cluster, promoted by the Government of India. With MBA, MPhil, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and various awards, US University has also awarded him Honorary Doctorate.

Anjan comes with a passion for facilitation and learning and has been actively leading the learning initiatives for Northern Trust, India. Anjan received the Chairman’s award for his contributions towards Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Anjan has been an active member of the Toastmasters Club at Northern Trust India and has completed his International Competent Leader certification. Ramana Reddy, a 1998-batch IAS officer (Karnataka Cadre), has over 35 years of experience in public administration across sectors like Agriculture, Revenue, Education, Health, IT & Biotechnology, and Urban Development. Known for his strong managerial acumen, he played key roles in policy and governance. He holds a Ph.D. in Agronomy from Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University and received two Gold Medals for academic excellence during his post-graduation. Dr. Reddy's career reflects a deep commitment to nation-building and innovation in governance. He retired from the Indian Administrative Service on 31st August 2023.

The GCC Workplace 2024 event was very well-organized and ran smoothly, with the right time given to each sub-event. The speakers were extremely engaging and informative, and provided some real life interesting examples, that I could relate to, and of course, added a lot of value. I personally learned a lot about industry practices, trends and most importantly, what my peer leaders are doing to address the challenges faced. I had a great time learning and networking at the event and would definitely attend the Workplace Awards 2025.
All GCC (Global Capability Centres) organisations can be nominated for the Workplace Awards by themselves or by other industry experts, clients, customers, or any other stakeholders. The nomination process will be open to businesses across India.
All nominations will undergo impartial screening based on eligibility criteria, including the requirement that organisations must be GCCs.
The screened nominations will then be shortlisted based on the employer responses collected through Survey shared.
The evaluation will be based on quantitative and qualitative elements including Employee Engagement, Recognition, Work-Life Balance, Team Collaboration, Leadership, Training & Development, Employee Well-Being, and Diversity & Inclusion initiatives gathered from the survey. Also, evaluation will include extensive research from our internal team.
The winners will be announced through a formal ceremony and event scheduled in July 2025.
We follow a comprehensive 5-step process to ensure fairness and transparency in recognizing excellence:
Step 1: Nomination Submission
Organizations and individuals can submit their nominations through the Workplace Awards official website.
Step 2: Verification
Our dedicated research team rigorously evaluates each nomination against the eligibility criteria. A confirmation email will be sent within **2 to 7 working days** of submission.
Step 3: Evaluation Form
Nominated organizations will receive a Evaluation form that must be completed to proceed to the next stage of evaluation.
Step 4: Evaluation and Research
Organizations that successfully complete the form will undergo a detailed evaluation. This includes an analysis of the form responses and additional research conducted by our internal team.
Step 5: Recognition
Winners will be officially announced and celebrated at the grand awards ceremony.
No, there is absolutely no fee involved at any stage of the nomination process or the subsequent evaluation steps. The entire process is free of charge to ensure inclusivity and equal opportunity for all participants.
